Sathsara 2022 | Sarath Kumarasinghe Live in concert will be held on 27th November 2022 from 7.00PM onwards at Assembly hall Toronto.

Latest single solo was released

Sarath’s latest single solo “Nivenna Senehen Jeewithayak” was released recently. Lyrics were penned by Thushari Dilkshi Weerasinghe and music composed and conducted by Dharshana Wickramatunga. The song was recorded in Colombo, Sri Lanka and video graphed in Toronto, Canada.

Sarath’s latest duet “Windimi Mama Danduwam” was also released recently. Nipuni Nayanathara joined in as the female artiste. Rasika D. Duminda penned the lyrics and Dharshana Wickramatunga composed and conducted music for the song.

PROFILE | SARATH KUMARASINGHE

Sarath Kumarasinghe is one of the foremost Esraj players in North America, an accomplished vocalist and a renowned composer. He is a proud recipient of Ontario Lieutenant Governor's award for artistic services from Hon. Elizabeth Dowdeswell.  Sarath is currently the only professional Esraj solo concert performer with several instrumental and vocal music concerts held in U.S.A., Canada and Sri Lanka.

His Esraj instrumental CD released in Sri Lanka in 2001 is the first of its’ kind released in Sri Lanka. To-date he has 4 instrumental CDs and 2 Concert DVDs to his credit.
